Animatic Storyboard

This is the animatic of my storyboard for my music video. Doing this has made me realise the strengths and weaknesses of my work so far. At the moment, I would say the strengths are that my storyboard is coming together and works really well with the song. The narrative of my music video also matches to the song, which is one thing that I was worrying about. Even though this is only an animatic of my music video, I feel some confidence that my work is going well. There are some negatives of this, and one is that I feel like some of the shots are too long. To change this, I will be adding some more new shots or some shots that are already used in the music video to break it all up a little. The second negative is that I couldn't use some of the effects that I was hoping to use. For example, at the beginning of the music video, I wanted to over lap the title with the fast paced editing of the clouds. I couldn't do this due to the lack of features on Windows Live Movie Maker. For the production of my music video, I will be using a more suitable programme to fulfill my music videos needs. My next piece of work is to sort the cast and prop list, as well as take my own photographs for my music video for locations, props and costume.
